12 Ways Satan May Try to Destroy You

From Church Pastor Dot com

The most popular post ever published on my blog is 20 Ways Satan May Seek to Destroy You. There we survey the Scriptures and demonstrate the reality of our spiritual enemy and his crafty work. Today, I add a dozen more.

In my continued reading of A Puritan Theology, I found the chapter “The Puritans on Demons” sobering. “The Puritans viewed human history as one continual conflict with evil spiritual powers.” This is one reason I have so long appreciated the writings of the Puritans, men who were not afraid to expose the devices of the evil one. Therefore, we find much help from them for the spiritual warfare that belongs to those who Continue reading

God’s E.R. helps cast out demonic manifestations

By BILL SHERMAN World Religion Writer for Tulsa World

No heads were spinning 360 degrees, and no one was shrieking or foaming at the mouth Monday night during God’s E.R. ministry sessions, which are held several times a week in Tulsa to cast demons out of people and then to help them stay free.
“We see a variety of (demonic) manifestations, but not for long,” said John Heim, a volunteer minister who is also a Tulsa air traffic controller.
“We don’t allow manifestations. They might raise their heads, but we take Continue reading

Mysterious Forces: Exploring the Poltergeist Phenomenon

by David Metcalfe for the Daily Grail

Christopher Laursen is a PhD Candidate in the Department of History at the University of British Columbia whose dissertation focuses on poltergeist phenomena. I first met him at the Parapsychological Association’s 2012 conference, and have been glad that his web magazine, the Extraordinarium, has allowed me to continue following developments in his research over the past few years. His PhD dissertation, titled Mischievous Forces, looks at the shifting perspectives on poltergeist phenomena in the 20th century, focusing on changing research paradigms in the United States and UK during this period. It’s with great pleasure that I had the opportunity to interview him via email regarding his work and recent developments in his studies, including an online survey of people who have experienced purported poltergeist phenomena (Click Here to take the survey).

DM: What is a poltergeist? How accurate is what we see in the popular media? Continue reading

Satanists Take Culture Wars to Deadly Level

by: JENNIFER LECLAIRE for Charisma News

First an artistic, devil-inspired barista took demonic to a whole new level with one lady’s latte—crafting a satanic symbol in a Catholic woman’s Starbucks drink. Now, a burger chain symbolized by its golden arches is making headlines for something nearly as sinister: a golden swastika depicted in butter on a chicken sandwich bun she bought from a McDonald’s drive-thru in Morehead City, North Carolina. McDonald’s fired the employee involved in the incident, but what does this incident—and the occult symbols in the Starbucks latte some months ago—really say? What’s going on in the spiritual realm? Clearly, it’s one more manifestation of Satan’s subtle—and increasingly not-so-subtle—works in a sinful world. Continue reading

Obsession with the Paranormal can lead to unwanted results

When one reviews the statistics that posit an increasing number of those that do not believe in anything to do with religion, a growing demographic of secular, atheistic individuals that deny the existence of the spiritual realm; one cannot help but find a conundrum at Continue reading

Demons On The ‘Net: Stories Of Exorcism vol. II

The Real Story Behind The Movie: The Exorcism of Emily Rose
Source: Wikipedia the free encyclopedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anneliese_Michel

Anneliese_Michel-1Anneliese Michel (21 September 1952 – 1 July 1976) was a German Catholic woman who was said to be possessed by demons and subsequently underwent an exorcism. The case has been labelled as a misidentification of mental illness, negligence, abuse, and religious hysteria. Three motion pictures, The Exorcism of Emily Rose, Requiem, and the Asylum film Anneliese: The Exorcist Tapes, are loosely based on Michel’s story.  When she was sixteen, she suffered a severe convulsion and was diagnosed as having epilepsy. Soon, she began hallucinating while praying.  In 1973, she suffered from depression and began to hear voices telling her that she was “damned” and would “rot in hell”. Continue reading

My Imaginary Friend

A Bizarre But True Story Of One Woman’s Battle With Demonic Forces.

It wasn’t long after Mom and I moved in with Grand Mother in 1999, that Daren came into my life, perhaps it was the stress of living with the old woman that made him so attractive to me.   Grand Mother was many things, cruel, obsessive, demanding, controlling, however empathetic, kind, or nurturing was concepts totally foreign to her.  In retrospect, I understand why Mom turned out the way she did, after being raised up by that old witch.

Every evening was the same; I would get home from school, go upstairs to my room Continue reading
